Reporting in MSOA

When it comes to finances reporting is a key element. This is the way that we (as in the finance responsibles) and the others (as in everyone who has a stake in the organization) keeps track of what goes on inside the organization.

I have prepared a video on how to do monthly reporting in MSOA and also a quarterly update on how we are doing according to budget. I have an updated budget template that you can download here that will help you do this practically automatically.

For leaders: Registration for new members on MyAIESEC.net

Oooh! All the new members for the fall are here! New, fresh and excited members =)

Let's help them get involved in AIESEC as fast as possible. One important thing to do is to make them sign up on MyAIESEC.net. It is very easy and they will get access to so much fun and useful information. The first part of the video shows how to do this.

The second part of the video shows how the leaders must approve the new members.
Tip: did you know that all new members fill in why they joined AIESEC and how they noticed AIESEC? Very useful information!

Only editing existing pages is not that fun. In this video, we take a look at how you can create new pages on your website.

eSynergy - Search it harder!

The fact that you can search and find companies in eSynergy makes it really powerful. For example, you can use the search to answer questions like

• what companies did we contact last year?
• which companies are inactive?
• which ICT companies do we have in our database?
• who should I call?

The search screen is very flexible so you can find many ways to search using it. In a later stage I am going to show you how to plan calls for all companies at once - for now, it will be enough for search.

Another thing this video goes through are the different types for companies. We have 4 important types in AIESEC eSynergy: Not validated, Uncontaced, Conctaced, Visited. These will be updated automatically when you add activities and realize them. However the "not visited" type is a bit special, it is set when you import companies from Excel, and you need to update this yourself! The video will show you how.
