It's all about the money - Introduction to MS Office Accounting
It's all about the money
It's all about the dum dum.......
Well it is isn't it? At least I think that if you don't manage your money well, then all the other things you do in AIESEC will kind of come to waste. That's why I'm working in the National Support Team to try to create initiatives to improve our financial practices. One such initiative is try to update the use of accounting software as most of our LCs are using different or outdated software right now.
This post is focused towards VPFs but can also be useful for LCPs who want to know a bit more about how to use the accounting software (or project managers/OCPs for that matter!).
Microsoft Office Accounting Express is a free software that handles your accounting and invoicing real easy. In this first video I'll introduce it and also show how you'll set up your LC from the template I prepared.
See the video in fullscreen.
To Download MS Office Accounting Express now go click here. To get the template for an LC as well as importing our Products, Customer and Suppliers (as show in the video) click here.
When you use the ImporSuppliers, ImportCustomers and ImportProducts remember to do them in this order: Suppliers, Customers, Products!
And once you're done with all this, it's time to sit back and relax.

(Re)Introducing our CRM: eSynergy
So... at the IS blog we begin from the beginning, back to the basics and build from the ground up and all that. Therefore the first post will be a very, very light introduction to a lovechild of ours called eSynergy.
Ok, so I hear some in the audience sighing already, but don't worry - this year, it's all going to work much better. Give it a chance and follow our videos and you'll hopefully be up and running and working effectively in eSynergy in no-time
This first video might be a bit basic, but follow it through and make sure that you can login (EVEN if you have used eSynergy before) to system. If you can't login, then just leave us a comment and we'll help you out!
See the video in fullscreen
The link to the system is here: http://esynergy.aiesec.se and if you don't have an account yet - please register here (note: you're LCP will need to approve you!)!

Welcome to the IS Blog - Introduction
Hey! You probably got a mail to check this blog out, and I guess a little introduction would be good. The idea of this blog is to share some video clips and other useful material to help AIESEC Sweden (you !) to develop the usage of the many and good information systems (IS) that we have.
We started it to help share, in the best way possible, best practices, good ideas and basic usage materials so that you can refer back to it when you are at home, actually trying to use (and hopefully succeeding) the tools we have.
We figured that it would be good for you to get to know the people who are working on this blog - that is, Linus and Carolin - a bit so we recorded some introductions, also if you say hi to us in the comments we will be really happy :)
Gosh, it always makes you self-concious to see yourself on video like that... Now remember to check back here regularly as we will try to have updates for you every week on new things and features.
